Lindsay Forced To Cancel Plans with Fergie · 523 days ago by Jayalicious

Today it came to our attention that everyones favorite troubled singer/actress was so in love with Fergie’s song “Big Girls Don’t Cry” that she called Fergie a mere 2 days before her most recent DUI incident and asked her to write a song for her upcoming album.

Unfortunately the arrest now forces her to put the planned cooperation on hold indefinitely.

Honestly that girl needs a break from the spot light not more time under the public microscope..

Fergie Won't Give Up Her Jet · 527 days ago by Jayalicious

Despite knowing the damage it does to the environment and recently performing with the Black Eyed Peas as part of the Live Earth event in London, she refuses to give up her private jet.

Saying:

“The best thing about fame is flying on a private jet, as I don’t have to go through security or wait at a regular airport. I love it – I’m not going to lie.”

Fergie Learned To Control Her Temper.. · 530 days ago by Jayalicious

In therapy…

That’s right, recently Fergie revealed that it’s been years since her last argument saying:

“I’ve been in therapy for a few years so I don’t really lose my temper. It sounds kind of corny but I like to discuss rather than yell.”

“The last time was probably years ago in my early twenties when my ex-boyfriend threw all my clothes off the balcony. We didn’t break-up, though. It was a very ‘exciting’ relationship. Fiery!”

However she also revealed her belife that life’s misery is better for making good music.

Fergie Loves To Spend · 543 days ago by Jayalicious

Today she revealed that without a doubt she is an extravagant if not utterly wasteful spender saying:

“My business manager always wants to know why I spend so much money on bags. Sometimes he’ll get a bill for $1,500 and wonder what it’s for, when it’s for one bag!”

“I’ve bought Josh two Rolexes because I want him to start a collection.”

That’s ok Fergie, we still love you, however I have to say quotes like this really make me wonder what the recording industry is complaining about when they say their losing money all the time.

Interview with Fergie · 584 days ago by Jayalicious

RWDmag recently did an interview with our favorite singer, Fergie.

How are things going for you, Ms Fergie?

Oh god, things are amazing right now. I’m currently on my first ever solo tour and everything is running surprisingly smoothly. I’m just getting used to wearing the Captain’s hat (laughs). I have gradually worked myself up to this point, you know, so it is a natural progression and it’s got easier with time, thankfully. I’m so thrilled, for me everything now is the icing on the cake, you know? Because all my goals for this album have been reached.
You stayed touring with the Peas during your own solo work. Was that intentional, so as not to distance yourself from the group?
Everyone knew I wanted to do a solo album. That was no secret when I joined the band, so after we did two albums and continued touring together throughout the albums, it felt like the right time to do it. Honestly though I would have liked a little more time to focus and marinate on my album but Jimmy Iovine (Head of Interscope Records) got hold of the songs and was anxious to put it out. So I had to really hustle to finish it, while still also doing other tour and work commitments with the Peas.

Do you regret doing it like that?

Well, next time I’m not going to do the album while I’m continually on tour and have other commitments. I’m going to take some time out and go into the lab like everyone else gets to and disappear from the public eye for a minute. It was really challenging doing everything at once, but I don’t regret anything because everything has been so wonderfully successful and I’m counting my blessings.

How do you feel nowadays when people say the Peas were better before you joined?

Well, I had to get over that. I went through all of that pain and reading about people not liking me in the band and obviously it is really hard to read that kind of thing, but I have thick skin.

You’ve spoken in the past about being addicted to the drug Crystal Meth. What do you think of the current crop of celebs in rehab?

I was lucky because I was around the same age as some of these girls who are now going through similar problems that I went through, but I did not have paparazzi following me around. That would be a really hard way to recover and overcome your problems, especially with having nobody you could trust. I feel sorry for these girls, as in this day and age, in this society, there is no sanctuary for them because everyone leaks everything to the press. I just hope that people let these girls have a safe sanctuary and let them heal. I was lucky that I did.

You’ve spoken about getting it on with other chicks, which is quite brave in hip hop circles…

You know what, what people say really doesn’t bother me. I’m just me.

What’s the latest with the you and Nelly beef?

Well, we had kind of a little war of words in song and that was about a situation that was between us. And I can say that it’s done now.

You’re not afraid to speak out – do you worry that the press might use your honesty against you?

Sometimes sure. I definitely had to learn that interviews are not a therapy session. I am very outspoken and sometimes I say too much, but it’s also who I am as a person.

How’s it going with boyfriend Josh Duhamel?

It’s great. He’s filming a new film at the moment, and he’s also promoting a film that’s coming out this summer. So he’s super busy as well, but we make it work. When he has some time off, he’ll fly out to come visit me and when I have time off, I do the same. It works well.

Did you enjoy touring the UK with your old buddy Justin Timberlake?

Yes, I love touring with Justin. Our whole crews really get on with each other and know each other like family, so it’s always a great vibe between us.

What does the future hold for Fergie?

Well, I’m working till the end of the year touring both for my own solo album and then a world tour with the Peas. But the future will definitely hold more Fergie albums, more Black Eyed Peas albums and also I want to do some films.
